Successes

*The following is a representative list of some successful achievements of our firm on behalf of our clients:

Loan Modifications

Client's original monthly mortgage payment was $1,433 with a 6.25% interest rate.  Liberty Credit Law successfully negotiated a new interest rate of 4.5% for the life of the loan bringing the monthly mortgage payment down to $793.58 with a monthly savings of $639.41.

Client was $6,900.34 in arrears and four months late on mortgage payments.  Liberty Credit Law successfully negotiated client's interest rate from 9.25% to 2.25% for 60 months.  The new monthly mortgage payment was reduced to $833.84 representing a monthly savings of $1,142.81.

Client was 7 months late on mortgage payments with $18,950.78 of arrears.  After negotiation, original interest rate of 5.25% was reduced to 5% for the life of the loan.  Additionally, $18,950.78 of delinquent payments were added to the principal balance bringing the client current on mortgage payments.

A client had a tremendous financial hardship and was unable to make a mortgage payment for forty months prior to retaining Liberty Credit Law, P.C. The original interest rate on the client's mortgage was 9.9% with a monthly payment of $2,425.14.  The client owed $95,000 of back mortgage payments.  Liberty's legal team negotiated an interest rate that begins at 2.75% for the next five years subject to increase, not to exceed 3.2% for the life of the loan. The client's new monthly payment is now $900 per month representing substantial monthly cash savings. Additionally the client avoided losing their family home without having to pay the $95,000 that was delinquent.

Foreclosure Avoidance

A client contacted the law firm on a Monday with a foreclosure notice that had a sale date of that Friday.  Although we were not able to gather all the necessary supporting documentation from the client until late Wednesday afternoon, Liberty Credit Law, P.C. was successful in postponing the Friday sale affording the Firm additional time to advise the client.
